Echoes of Theron is a game by Max Brand. For questions about your data, or to see or delete it, write to support@echoes-of-theron.com.

What is stored: your account (your email address, or an anonymous guest login) and your game: heroes, items, progress, achievements and settings. This is needed to run the game you signed up for (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).

While you play, the game server receives your IP address with each connection. It is used to connect you and to protect the server from abuse (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Technical server logs, which can contain it, are deleted after 14 days.

Services that process data on our behalf: Supabase (accounts and sign-in, data center in Ireland) and Hetzner Online GmbH (the game server, the game data and the game's web pages, data center in Germany). Your data is not sold or used for advertising.

Backups: the game data is backed up every hour and the accounts every night, plus a daily copy of the whole server at Hetzner; each backup is kept for up to seven days. When a hero is changed or restored by the game's support, a copy of its previous state is kept for 30 days.

In your browser, the game keeps your login and a few preferences (sound, language, display). No tracking, analytics or advertising cookies are used.

Your rights: you can ask which data about you is stored, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a copy. You can also complain to a data protection authority.

To remove your login from this browser, log out. To delete your account with all its heroes, write to support@echoes-of-theron.com.
